We are planning a road trip to Florida to dive the panhandle. Come join us for as long as you would like. ROUGH itinerary is as follows:
June 8, 2013
Day 1- Saturday
Travel from Houston to Pensacola, Fort Pickens Campgrounds - 540 miles, ~9 hours
Late afternoon checkout dive; possible night dive

June 9, 2013
Day 2 – Sunday
Dive the Mighty “O”

June 10, 2013
Day 3 - Monday
Shore dives – Fort Picken’s jetties

June 11, 2013
Day 4 - Tuesday
Travel from Pensacola to Panama City, St. Andrews Campgrounds - 100 miles, ~2.5 hrs
Shore dives (Gulf or Jetties side of the park); night dive in the “kiddie pool”

June 12, 2012
Day 5 - Wednesday
Travel from Panama City to Homosassa River, Nature‘s Resort Campsite - 275 miles, ~5.5 hours
Morning shore dive then travel to Homosassa River

June 13, 2013
Day 6 - Thursday
Swim with the Manatees Private or General Manatee Tour
Travel from Homosassa River to Williston, Devil’s Den Campsite - 50 miles, ~1 hour

June 14, 2013
Day 7 - Friday
Dive the Blue Grotto

June 15, 2013
Day 8 - Saturday
Travel to Houston, Texas - 872 miles, ~14 hours
Perhaps an overnight stop in New Orleans (8.5 hours from Williston)?
